The canine edge width was based on the percentage of the incisal width of the maxillary central incisor and categorized to 0%, 12.5%, 25%, 37.5%, 50%, 62.5%, and 75% of the central incisor width. The canine edge height was defined as the distance of the incisal edges between the maxillary canine and central incisor, and categorized to − 0.5 mm, 0 mm, 0.5 mm, and 1.0 mm
