Posterior joint space (PJS) (1) and anterior joint space (AJS) (2) were defined as the distance parallel to the FH plane between the posterior and anterior points of the condyle and the glenoid fossa outline, respectively. The superior joint space (SJS) (3), medial joint space (MJS) (4) and lateral joint space (LJS) (5) were defined as the distance between the most medial point, superior point, and lateral point of the condyle and the glenoid fossa, respectively
